Policy amendment – personnel security

Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) Policy 12: Eligibility and suitability of personnel and Policy 13: Ongoing assessment of personnel have been updated to reflect a terminology change for ASIO security assessments. The term ‘ASIO security assessment’ has changed to ‘ASIO security clearance suitability assessment’. This aligns more closely with changes to the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation Act 1979.
